Empfohlene Bildschirmspannung?

Hallo
Habe mir einen NEC Schirm gekauft und es war ein Amerikanischer Stecker dabei (also 110V)
Im Users Manual steht folgendes:

When operating the Multisync LCD monitor with AC 125-240V power supply, (also Europa standard), use a power supply cord that matches the power supply voltage of the AC power outlet being used. The power supply cord you use must have been approved ba and comply with the safety standards of your country. (Type H055VV-F should be used in Europe)

Bedeutet das, dass es egal ist ob ich den Strom mit einem Adapter auf 110V transformiere oder ob ich direkt 240V anschließe?
