I want to tell you about my experience with the Alcatel One Touch 311. I wanted to get a mobile phone that feels good in your hand, has a long standby and talk time, is robust, cheap and has a nice design. And I needed a W@P-browser to receive e-mails and news from the internet.
Thus I decided to get the Alcatel One Touch 311. And because I don't make many calls I got the Alcatel One Touch 311 with a prepaid-card from T-Mobile (T-D1 Xtra-Pack).
The advantages of the Alcatel One Touch 311 are its battery's power, standby time and talk time.
With me the battery will easily last 10 days, if I leave the Alcatel One Touch 311 switched on and make a few calls and write a few SMS. Constantly switching the Alcatel One Touch 311 on and off will quickly drain the battery, so the Alcatel One Touch 311 should be kept switched on.
I'm very satisfied with the many additional features of the Alcatel One Touch 311, like the T9-software, W@P-browser and the reception of ringer tones and pictures (EMS).
The only drawback of the Alcatel One Touch 311 is the "OK"-key. It wears out quickly and has to be pressed very carefully or you'll get lost in the menu, which can get on your nerves.

As mentioned above, I bought the Alcatel One Touch 311 as a prepaid Xtra-package. Battery, charging set, instructions manual and Sim-card with 15 € credit were included.
The quality of reception and the sound quality of the Alcatel One Touch 311 are faultless.
Unfortunately, my Alcatel One Touch 311 doesn't have a Lithium-ion battery. That means that the battery of the Alcatel One Touch 311 has to be completely emptied before being charged again. If you keep to that, the battery of the Alcatel One Touch 311 has a long life-span.
I can recommend the Alcatel One Touch 311 to people who make high demands on a mobile phone, don't want to do without technical features and don't want to spend a lot of money.
