I must admit that I haven't really bothered with anything that has to do with mobile phones until now. Compared to other who give statements here I will probably sound like an idiot.
Nevertheless I want to tell you about my experience with the Bosch GSM Com 608.
Of course there are a lot of possible reasons why one decides for a hand phone; with the Bosch GSM Com 608 the main reason was the fact that the Bosch GSM Com 608 is cheap.
Normally I don't fall for bargains like that and until recently I thought that a low price automatically meant low quality of the product.
Well, the Bosch GSM Com 608 and the great offer proved me wrong. At first the low price of the Bosch GSM Com 608 attracted me, but after giving the Bosch GSM Com 608 a closer look I found that the Bosch GSM Com 608 had a lot of other qualities. For instance the Bosch GSM Com 608 has a very clear menu which is easy to use also because of the big display.
Additionally the Bosch GSM Com 608 has a very good quality of sound and reception, even in situations where others models, like many Nokias, fail. Generally I’m satisfied with the Bosch GSM Com 608.
There are a few negative aspects to the Bosch GSM Com 608, which I can live with, but want to discuss anyway. One is the performance of the battery of the Bosch GSM Com 608, with a standby time of only 24 hours. If you have to make many calls, like me, you're lucky if the battery of the Bosch GSM Com 608 will last one day. Really annoying if you're in the middle of a conversation and the battery runs empty.

Another negative point that has cost me a lot of nerves is the customer-call-service of the internet provider, which is very unsettling. When you buy the Bosch GSM Com 608 at a shop you get a visual presentation, and every function of the Bosch GSM Com 608 will be explained to you thoroughly. Of course this is impossible at a telephone purchase, but sadly I must say that the customer service is very superficial and the buyer is not advised enough.
If you have to exchange the Bosch GSM Com 608 with a new one due to technical problems you will not be told when the new Bosch GSM Com 608 will be delivered.
All the same the Bosch GSM Com 608 has left a good impression on me. The Bosch GSM Com 608 simply is a good hand phone for beginners, easy to use and sufficient for normal usage. Everybody expecting more from a mobile phone and needing a longer standby time should probably look for another model. The Bosch GSM Com 608 simply isn't suited for frequent callers, even though the price is tempting.
