Test report and technical data Nokia 3650
Nokia 3650 - ITS A SMART THING !!!
Plus of Nokia 3650: video- and digital camera
Minus of Nokia 3650: no lens protector on the outside of Nokia 3650, scratches on the cover of Nokia 3650, image quality, keypad, battery
I bought this phone, the Nokia 3650, a week ago. Now I've to admit I was led by the optics of the Nokia 3650 and although I've never had a Nokia phone before, I heard that they were easy to use, so I decided to go for the Nokia 3650. After looking around on the net I ordered the Nokia 3650 from e2save on the o2 network. A day later the Nokia 3650 arrived much to my excitement, a brisk charge later and we were ready to go!!!
The Nokia 3650's menu is really simple to operate, it comes with a quick start guide which told me all I needed to know. I worked out everything else worth knowing about the Nokia 3650 and its terrific features myself. The keypad of the Nokia 3650 is different but I've adapted to it quickly although I could see compulsive texters having trouble getting used to it. The picture quality of the Nokia 3650 isn't brilliant, although the display of the Nokia leaves a quite good impression (176 x 208 Pixel, 4096 colors).
The Nokia 3650 is not a usual mobile phone, except for a few niggles the Nokia 3650 offers you a lot more than average features: the MMS tool functions really quickly and those are compatible to other image services. Despite of those nice gadgetries, you shouldn't forget to use the Nokia 3560 as a mobile phone. A friend of mine told me that he even threw his video camera, hifi system and digital camera away since he got the Nokia 3650... I dunno know if I should believe him though.
Of course the Nokia 3650 is the successor model of the Nokia 3510i, featuring all standard Nokia options: wap-browser, data transfer turbo HSCSD, user-defined and time-steered profiles, calendar, clock, countdown watch, calculator etc.
Featuring a built-in hands free system makes the Nokia 3650 even more worthy to me.
The Nokia 3650 is based on the Symbian operating system.
It also features bluetooth which is incredibly handy for notebook users and those wanting to use wireless bluetooth headsets. Infrared is also part of the Nokia 3650. There are several fun games integrate in the Nokia 3650.
The Nokia 3650 is a dual band phone, capable of high speed data transfer and in addition to that it features voice dialing.
Sadly, (probably due to the big screen) you only get 2-4 hours of talk time and 150 - 200 hours standby time which is pretty poor for this otherwise brilliantly performing model.
The battery of the Nokia 3650 is decent – I charge it every day at work, however it also survives the weekends without being charged at all.
