If you look at the Siemens C35i from our modern poin to of view, I very well need to admit, that the Siemens C35i is a rather simple mobile phone. The Siemens C35i is available in five different colours, unfortunately one ist not able to change the covers. The Siemens C35i evokes a dynamic impression thanks to its rolling form. The antenna of the Siemens C35i should have been integrated in the design in a more elegant manner, however the antenna does not really bug one since it is quite tiny and therefore this smaller difficiency of the Siemens C35i can easily be forgotten.
The man reason why the Siemens C35i comes across quite dynamically is due to its size of 118x46x21mm only and its weight of merely 116g. The screen of the Siemens C35i has the size of 19x32 mm, rather small for today's standard, but still sufficient. The keys of the Siemens C35i give no reason at all for complaint, except that they tend to fret quickly when used intensively. However the keys may easily be replaced for little money.

Regarding the technical data of the Siemens C35i, the Siemens C35i has caused some kind of revolutionary work compared to its predecessors. The Siemens C35i may triumph with numerous modern features, which can not be found in many other mobile phones of that time yet.
But let's talk about the basics first, the battery of the Siemens C35i has a standby time of about 180 hours and its talk time amounts to a maximum of five hours, the Siemens C35i herewith easily accomplishes the standard battery performance.
The telephone book of the Siemens C35i stores up to 100 numbers and the message inbox can save a maximum of ten messages, both these figures are the common size of memory capacity. It still needs to be mentioned that one can enter special VIP-entries in the telephone book of the Siemens C35i.
Over and above further norms, such as calculator and numerous ringer-/ key tones, the Siemens C35i can now display a range of features, which were not covered by its predecessors yet. I could not make out any greater difference when regarind the recption quality of the Siemens C35i with the more modern mobile phones. This performance of the Siemens C35i is absolutely faultless. Never ever have I made any negative experience in this field over all those years.
The very same can be said about the sound quality of the Siemens C35i. The sound of the Siemens C35i is absolutely clear and no noises are to be heard that should not be in the line. If the volume of the Siemens C35i ist too low and one can barely understand what he is told during a phone call, the volume may be adjusted during the phone call.
The Siemens C35i convinces with its performance an robustness, which I have both tested to the maximum extent. I have made intensive use of the Siemens C35i for over two years and I have not made any experience with the Siemens C35i that deserved to be severely criticized. I rather have to say that I could barely make out a difference between the Siemens C35i and its successor, except for the design. The price of these two models however is quite different.
Who ever is looking out for a relieable and robust mobile phone and does not mind a certain degree of features, should be able to make good friends with the Siemens C35i and in case of a possible purchase of the Siemens C35i one does not even need to dispense a lot of money.
