Normally I don't give Christmas presents a lot of thought and just buy them in the last minute, and not start already in October. Well, last year this attitude almost cost me my marriage...
Like always I started thinking about what I could get my wife on the 24th. And since I had been out partying with my pals the night before I couldn't get started until noon, and in the end I got her a lingerie-set by Tchibo (German discount brand) that was much too big for her.
Of course she freaked out and punished me for weeks, like only women can.
To prevent this from happening again this year I decided to take care of it now already. And since she's been constantly telling me how she would love to have a mobile phone I’m going to get her of those things with a contract.
I went to the mobile phone shop of a pal and was helped by a lovely sales woman. After she showed me a couple of models I asked her which one she had.....
She told me she had just ordered the new Ericsson T36M. She started explaining the Ericsson T36M to me in detail, but since I was somewhat distracted by her physique I can only remember a few of the features of the Ericsson T36M.
Ok, the Ericsson T36M is small, handy and reliable. The Ericsson T36M is the successor of the Ericsson T28S and has about the same measurements, but improved technical functions. The Ericsson T36M has features like Bluetooth, WAP, Voice-Demand, an infrared-interface and a standby time of 200 hours, which should be enough for my wife, or she'll babble someone to death.
The Ericsson T36M has a lot of other nice features on board, as they say, which I can't remember because I was distracted by the girl, as I mentioned earlier. In the end I ordered the Ericsson T36M from the beautiful young lady and now I’m simply waiting for it to be delivered before Christmas.
And if my wife doesn't like the Ericsson T36M either, I don't know what to do. Maybe ask the girl from the shop for a date.
Hmmm.....maybe I should get the Ericsson T36M for myself after all, and get my wife something cheap, with the risk of her starting another marriage-fight, than I would have a reason to look for someone new.
Just kidding! Of course I’m going to give my wife the Ericsson T36M for Christmas, and the shop woman wasn't so pretty anyway. If you plan to get the Ericsson T36M or give it to someone as a gift, I wish you a lot of fun and much luck with your sales girl.
