I've had Panasonic GD 87 for quite a while and was really happy with it. Thus, I was obviously interested in its follower as well: Panasonic X70.
Panasonic X70 is going to be a rather stylish device again; it is said to be even smaller, lighter and technically improved! Panasonic X70 measures 87 x 47 x 24 mm at a weight of 85 g. Isn't it amazing that a phone that even features a camera weighs so little? The pictures taken with Panasonic X70 are always of a great quality, even when the light isn't too good.
Like Panasonic GD 87, Panasonic X70 features two displays. The high resolving screen of Panasonic X70 features 65,000 colors.
Pictures taken with Panasonic X70 can be send via e-mail or MMS. Panasonic X70 also features Bluetooth and an infra red interface. The MMS function of Panasonic X70 also allows the sending of audio files. Via the photo management system, you can save your pictures, distribute them to your contacts or send them using MMS, e-mail or Bluetooth. The memory capacity of Panasonic X70 is amazing. You can save 4 MB worth of pictures, sound, games and more on Panasonic X70.
A nice special of Panasonic X70 is the fact that it is equipped with a color browser instead of a regular W@P browser, which doubles the fun. The data transfer with Panasonic X70 is supported by GPRS (class 8). GPRS will keep you connected to the server at all times.
The Li-Poly battery of Panasonic X70 will last 290 hours in stand - by mode and provide you with a talking time of 5 hours.
Since it is a Tri Band device, with Panasonic X70 you will be available anywhere in the world.
Now I hope my Panasonic GD 87 will die anytime soon, so I can purchase Panasonic X70 without suffering from guilt...
