In addition to what we already know about the Samsung SGH T400 I've done some research....the optics first: typical Samsung, but who expected a surprise from Samsung?
But there is a surprise: if you look at the exterior of the Samsung SGH T400 first, a little color display in the upper third of the Samsung SGH T400 will catch your eye. Because the Samsung SGH T400, like many Samsung models, is a folding mobile phone with a small, fragile antenna the inner display of the Samsung SGH T400 might be slightly confusing for 'not-yet-Samsungians'. This so-called TFT-display of the Samsung SGH T400 is notably bigger, shines even brighter, enormous 65000 colors (if it wants); and sets the trend of the new hand phone generation when it comes to color quality.
The design of the Samsung SGH T400 is completely according to the fashion-sense of its creators: metallic-silver or metallic-golden give the Samsung SGH T400 the ideal futuristic touch.
By the way, made especially for the Samsung SGH T400: the new games 'Honey Collector' and 'MegaRacing'; one more reason to be quite curious about the Samsung SGH T400!
The battery of the Samsung SGH T400 is, typical for this price-class, a Li-ion battery, at least I would be surprised if Samsung would change the specifications of the Samsung SGH T400 compared to the Samsung SGH T100. Accordingly the Samsung SGH T400 will last for 3 days with an average daily talk time of 25 - 30 minutes before the Samsung SGH T400 needs more 'juice'.
The software of the Samsung SGH T400 gives you the option to download screensavers from the PC, in addition to the ones already included. Additionally you can choose between a traditional and a rather spacey/funny menu layout version with the Samsung SGH T400.
The address book of the Samsung SGH T400 has the usual 100 spaces, like its predecessor, and that should be an advantage. The organizer of the Samsung SGH T400 is well-structured and easy to access. The memory function is a nice little extra of the Samsung SGH T400.
And, to keep in mind, the eagerly awaited Vibra-Call of the Samsung SGH T400, which is anything but ordinary. The Samsung SGH T400 doesn't only announce incoming calls close to the battery, but also on both sides!!! So we owe those extra vibration-feelings to the Samsung SGH T400....
Unfortunately I couldn't find any closer details about the Samsung SGH T400, but as soon as I do I’ll let you know.... Whether the Samsung SGH T400 will live up to his bigger brother is still uncertain. The Samsung SGH T400 has everything it takes optically and technically. Has a new star on the mobile phone sky been born???
