The Sharp GX 15 is the predecessor of the Sharp GX 10 and is only sold in connection with a Vodafone-Live contract. Vodafone looked out for new mobiles for their contract packages a long, long time. It was clear from the beginning, that the Sharp GX 15 would be one of the top-models to be chosen.
When comparing the technical data of the Sharp GX 15 with the data of the Sharp GX 10, no big differences can be noticed at first sight. In order to do that, u just need to open your eyes and take a look at the Sharp GX 15, the new technical innovation of the Sharp GX 15 will smile right at u; the wonderful, sparkling, full-of-colour TFT-display of the Sharp GX 15. The screen of the Sharp GX 15 can show 65.000 colours, when being ideally illuminated and having a high resolution. Unwanted reflections are completely impossible with the Sharp GX 15. However, when exposed to sunlight, even the Sharp GX 15 has to give in and can't do any better than other colour-displays.
The body of the Sharp GX 15 is barely to be distinguished from its predecessor. I don't have the precise dimensions of the Sharp GX 15 yet, but the dimensions will as well be quite similar to those of the Sharp GX 10.
The Sharp GX 15 is a TriBand mobile and therefore even applicable in US-networks.
The Sharp GX 15 is operated as simple as its predecessor. Big keys and a good functionality speak for the Sharp GX 15.
Sadly the Sharp GX 15 has not that much to offer in terms of functions. The highlight of the Sharp GX 15 is reduced to its extraordinary screen.
Polyphonic ringer tones, as well as a camera placed in the flap of the Sharp GX 15 with a resolution of 288 x 352 Pixel and a digital zoom are the only features worth mentioning. Further more of course the java-technology of the Sharp GX 15, which is of great help when downloading games and other practical applications.
Nevertheless there is one thing to complain about with the Sharp GX 15, there is no e-mail-client to be found in the Sharp GX 15.
I guess the most convincing thing about the Sharp GX 15 is its colour-display, the remaining features are just average. That's why the Sharp GX 15 does not manage to count among the prime league of mobile phones yet.
