I had to get a new mobile since mine had ended up in a pool. Don't ask. Anyway, I received a new SIM card quickly, but unfortunately this did not enable me to make phone calls yet. I was not going to get a new contract to receive a new cell phone with it, since my old contract was going to run for 13 more months! So I had to buy a new phone. Honestly, I became sick when I saw the prices of mobiles.
But then I found the comparatively cheap Trium Mystral.
With its dimensions of 114 x 44 x 25 mm, Trium Mystral would certainly not win any competition, but I was convinced by Trium Mystral's features. Weighing 110 g, Trium Mystral was quite handy. Then I saw the data sheet of Trium Mystral, which was well readable.
Trium Mystral is a Dual Band device which makes you available on five continents (but not in every country). There is even a WAP browser (version 1.1) featured by Trium Mystral. One of 10 polyphone ringing tones can be heard when a call comes in or one of 20 unisonous ones. In case one does not like any of the above, one can download and/or self-compose up to ten more ringing tones.
A nice extra provided by Trium Mystral is its hands free talking device, which has got a good sound quality - at least in a rather quiet surrounding.
Trium Mystral features vibratory alert, calculator, currency calculator and voice command.
The writing of SMS is supported by T9 text construction soft ware. This is especially necessary since the pressure point of Trium Mystral's keys is not so great. Trium Mystral's phone book provides space for 250 entries, each containing somebody's name and number. Also, nine numbers of your favorite people can be put on quick dial.
A fun feature is Trium Mystral's five display icons for day and night. They are not of any importance, but they are fun to look at.
The battery of Trium Mystral will last 165 hours in stand - by mode and provides you with a talking time of 2.5 hours. All in all, Trium Mystral is a good alternative to more expensive cell phones.
Although the manufacturing of Trium Mystral could be better, Trium Mystral is worth its money.
