Cons of Motorola A920: only few facts known about it
The Motorola A920 is not yet available on the market, and it won't be until mid of 2003. This cell phone has been exclusively developed for the American mobile corporation. How exclusively that is becomes clear just by looking at the Motorola A920's design, not to mention its interior!
Motorola has been working on new cell phones for quite a while, but nobody expected a mobile phone with integrated Linux program. This program makes the Motorola A920 more of a communicator than a cell phone.
This TriBand communicator offers a broad number of features, such as an integrated camera that does not only shoot pictures, but even video sequences.
Not surprising is the fact that the Motorola A920 enables to make video calls. It can play music as well.
Next to many other progressive features, such as SMS, MMS and WAP, the Motorola A920 also has got an internal GPS module. Other specials are an organizer which can be combined with Microsoft Outlook, both an audio and a video player and a slot for an extra memory card.
Equipped with GPRS, Motorola A920 offers its users various communication possibilities. Which possibilties these are is yet kept secret by its manufacturers.
Other features, such as SMS and MMS support, do not differ much from the Microsoft concepts and are used in many pocket PCs as well.
Some of the features that could be found in the Motorola Accompli 008 Smartphone for the first time are also part of the Motorola A920's functions, such as voice dial and the recognition of one's handwriting.
Considering its memory capacity, the Motorola A920 seems to be a 'black hole'. All data can be saved. The enormous memory capacity is supported by an SD card.
Dubbing of data to one's PC via USB is also possible with the Motorola A920.
Due to lacking information, a realistic evaluation of the Motorola A920 is not yet possible.
But by what is known so far, the Motorola A920 seems to be at least satisfactory.
Let's wait and see with which features the Motorola A920 is going to surprise us with!
