Bin etz in der 13. und schreib grad ne Facharbeit über "Computer games and their impacts on teenagers"....

Will hier mal so ne Art Umfrage machen auch wenn iuch scon etwas spät dran bin (Abgabe is am 28.1.). Also wenns geht schnell und zahlreich antworten :). (wenns geht auch auf englisch weil ich die FA auf Englisch schreib...(ich stell die Fragen auch auf Englisch aber ich denk mal jeder hier wirds verstehn )

1. Do computer games make you aggressive?
2. Are you playing computer games because of the violence they include (just if they
include violence)?
3. Do you think computer games have made you resistant against certain factors like
death or killing?
4. Have computer games made you influenced against certain (e.g. ethnic) groups?

Alright, I'll make a start then.
First of all point 4 does not sound very good. no one would ever say that.
"Have computer games made you influenced against certain (e.g. ethnic) groups?"

instead, you could say: "Have computer games influenced your oppinion about certain groups"

1. Do computer games make you aggressive?
Sometimes computer games do make me aggressive. Even non violent games can sometimes make me aggressive if if I get frustrated because things don't work out the way I want them to.
On the other hand games which contain lots of violence do not necessarily make me aggressive.

2. Are you playing computer games because of the violence they include (just if they
include violence)?
Not necessarily. But if I do play a game which originaly contained lots of violence, I like to play them uncensored because I feel that this is meant to be a part of the game. The uncensored versions being illegal in Germany even adds to the excitement of doing so.

3. Do you think computer games have made you resistant against certain factors like death or killing?
I don't think so as playing a computer game and wittnessing death in real live are two completely different things, no matter how realistic the game might be.
Also, you do do certain things in a computer game, because you know it's a computer game and not real life. I love stealing cars or playing hitman in computer games, for example, but would never do that in real live, unless somebody really pisses me off.

4. Have computer games made you influenced against certain (e.g. ethnic) groups?
Hardly any computer games I know of feature different groups of people who exist in real live.Nonetheless, PC games have made me more wary of aliens, because they are always the evil guys.

Hope that helps buddy and you'd better spell check what I've written just in case you want to put that into your essay. Not everything I said was true by the way, of course I wouldn't kill anybody who pisses me off, unless it was a freaking teacher wkppzz

PS:The only way you'll really learn how to speak and understand english is by learning it here for a couple of month at least. xzywzp
