Our experiences with the Alcatel One Touch 301:
The Alcatel One Touch 301 is small, handy und very lightweight (112g). But we don't like the selection of ringer tones in the Alcatel One Touch 301. Another drawback of the Alcatel One Touch 301 is the absence of an option to change the message tone of the Alcatel One Touch 301.
Design of the Alcatel One Touch 301:
The Alcatel One Touch 301 is about 12cm long and 2cm thick. The Alcatel One Touch 301 is available in blue, orange and green. There even is a 'GZSZ ' (popular German soap) case available for the Alcatel One Touch 301. Unfortunately the antenna of the Alcatel One Touch 301 is disturbing in bags, and will break if not handled with care.
Otherwise the Alcatel One Touch 301 is built very robustly.

You enter the Alcatel One Touch301's menu-section by pressing the 'Ok'-key. Then to enter the main-menu of the Alcatel One Touch 301 one has to click the highlighted 'menu'-button repeatedly. By pressing the 'C'-key the Alcatel One Touch 301's menu jumps back to the start.
Phonebook of the Alcatel One Touch 301:
Up to 100 numbers can be entered in the phone book of the Alcatel One Touch 301.
Your own number and important numbers of the provider are already saved.
SMS in the Alcatel One Touch 301:
The Alcatel One Touch 301 already has several SMS-templates included.
That and the T9-software helps and quickens the writing of SMS.
Call diversion with the Alcatel One Touch 301:
If you don't want to take any calls the Alcatel One Touch 301 can divert incoming calls to either a mailbox or another phone number.

The menu can be displayed in several languages.
Keypad -lock on the Alcatel One Touch 301:
When transported, the keypad of the Alcatel One Touch 301 can be locked, to prevent accidental pressing of keys.

The PIN and security-code can be changed individually in the Alcatel One Touch 301.
Time/date:
The time and date can be set manually. They can be shown on the display of the Alcatel One Touch 301 or hidden. In addition, the Alcatel One Touch 301 is very useful as an alarm clock.
Ringer and message tones of the Alcatel One Touch 301:
In the menu-point 'mode' the sound-scheme can be changed. The options are: normal, discreet and vibratory alarm on or off. Also the melody and volume can be adjusted. Message and key tones can only be activated or deactivated.
Games of the Alcatel One Touch 301:
With the Alcatel One Touch 301 you can kill time with games like 'Puzzle', 'Music' and 'Secret'
while waiting for your train or bus.
The Alcatel One Touch 301 is an all-rounder with good reception quality.
