Our experiences with the Alcatel One Touch 302:
We bought the Alcatel One Touch 302 a year ago and haven't had any problems with the Alcatel One Touch 302 yet. The Alcatel One Touch 302 has a lot to offer for a low price. Because we run our Alcatel One Touch 302 with a Xtra-card (prepaid) we will refer to T-Mobile when talking about the service.

Because of its "joystick" operating the Alcatel One Touch 302 is very easy. Most of the settings of the Alcatel One Touch 302 can be operated through the "joystick", without having to read the manual, for example:

The Alcatel One Touch 302 feels comfortable to handle, has an elegant design and will survive being dropped a few times, because the Alcatel One Touch 302 is very robust. On the back of the Alcatel One Touch 302 is a clip for fixing the Alcatel One Touch 302 on your belt. The colors blue and silver are available for the Alcatel One Touch 302. While silver is only sold as the prepaid- version, blue is sold in combination with a two- year contract. The front-case of the Alcatel One Touch 302 is removable and exchangeable.
Unfortunately the Alcatel One Touch 302 doesn't come with a lithium-ion battery, but with a NimH battery, which has the disadvantage of the so called "memory effect". When ignored this can lead to insufficient charging of the battery. The Alcatel One Touch 302 would indicate a fully charged battery when it's actually not. This would eventually lead to a shorter battery-life-span of the Alcatel One Touch 302. A special feature of the Alcatel One Touch 302 is the possibility to power it with regular alkaline batteries.
Sometimes the software of the Alcatel One Touch 302 crashes while writing a SMS. One possibility is to get new software uploaded to the Alcatel One Touch 302 by Alcatel free of charge. Or you just switch it off and on again and live with it. A disadvantage for inexperienced users of the Alcatel One Touch 302 is the missing option of switching T9 off. Only ten SMS can by saved on the Alcatel One Touch 302 at the same time. But the phone book has a capacity of up to a hundred names and numbers. The Alcatel One Touch 302 has a choice of ten ringer tones on the phone, but two melodies can be composed and saved by the user. The games (Puzzle, Music, Secret) of the Alcatel One Touch 302 are a good way of killing time while waiting for your bus or train. But they tend to get boring due to their monotonous game play. Since the W@P-technology in the Alcatel One Touch 302 isn't yet perfected, it is recommended to use the internet only in important cases.
We recommend the Alcatel One Touch 302 to user with high demands and a small budget. The value for money of the Alcatel One Touch 302 is unbeatable.
