Test report and technical data Alcatel One Touch Pocket
The Alcatel One Touch Pocket - the ideal hand phone to take along!
Plus of the Alcatel One Touch Pocket: the Alcatel One Touch Pocket is small, lightweight and handy
Minus of the Alcatel One Touch Pocket: the Alcatel One Touch Pocket is not a dual-band phone
Here's there story:
Until recently I had a hand phone from another company, and compared to the Alcatel One Touch Pocket it was a real log. But I was so proud to even own a mobile I took it with me everywhere I went in order to show off a little, I have to admit. Not that I’m insecure or something, but only a few people among my friends had a hand phone, most of them borrowed their parents' phones when we went out longer or needed to be picked up. But I had saved money and was now the owner of a Nokia with a pre-paid card. Until one day this girl, who had this small hand phone, showed up in our group and called my mobile a bulky log. That was very embarrassing, especially because I was a little in love with her. After that I couldn't show myself with my old log anymore, and quickly decided to buy the Alcatel One Touch Pocket, again with a pre-paid contract.
The Alcatel One Touch Pocket has a really good size of 59 x 19 mm and the weight is totally okay, too, with just 125 g including the battery. With the Alcatel One Touch Pocket I could show myself among my friends again without embarrassing myself in front of the girl.
Of course I had to show my buddies all the extras of the Alcatel One Touch Pocket immediately.
The Alcatel One Touch Pocket has a vibratory alarm, which none of my friends' mobiles has, a much bigger organizer than my old bulky phone and a 5-line display. The battery of the Alcatel One Touch Pocket is also great, lasting about 3 days when you talk for about 20 minutes each day. And the Alcatel One Touch Pocket can be powered by regular alkaline batteries when you have to.
A few people might be disturbed by the fact that the Alcatel One Touch Pocket is only a single-band hand phone, which means you can't use it abroad. But I wouldn't take it with me on vacation anyway because it would get very expensive; at least that's what I heard.
But back to what the Alcatel One Touch Pocket's real purpose is: making an impression on the cute girl. Of course at first she wouldn't admit that my Alcatel One Touch Pocket was simply a little better than her Siemens, but after some discussions I convinced her. We talked about our hand phones a couple of times after that and are now going steady. Naturally my buddies are jealous about the Alcatel One Touch Pocket. I sold the old log to a guy who has different friends and can show off with it there.
