The Nokia 3510i is a smart mobile, in its dimensions unfortunately a bit too large (118 x 49,6 x 17,1 mm), yet quite light (106 g). The Nokia 3510i is very hip and groovy, it should be one of the nominees for "most fashionable design".
You should watch out for your Nokia 3510i as good as you can though, since it isn’t an outdoor-mobile, thus spare it from heat, water, humidity and shock as well as you can.
You can even get the Nokia 3510i with glimmering covers. Guys, watch out if you place your 'glimmering' Nokia 3510i in you pants, things could be misinterpreted!
There are tons of differently styled exchangeable covers for the Nokia 3510i, individuality is definitely possible with the Nokia 3510i! There are so very many covers available already now, you shouldn't have trouble getting a hold of'em.
Back to the design of the Nokia 3510i again. Its design is really quite appealing. Usually nice light effects in a mobile cost some additional money, however the Nokia 3510i features all that already. Some people think the illumination of the Nokia 3510i is too flashy, therefore causing eye-aches. Well, no need to worry about that, cause that will only happen if you look at the Nokia 3510i's screen for a really long time, e.g. if you edit messages on the Nokia 3510i for more than an hour...non stop!
The Nokia 3510i is the first mobile ever, with which you can receive multimedia messages from all around the world. Guess that was necessary though! If a mobile offers that many features, its user should at least be able to use these features, no matter where he/she is located on the world.
Mobiles could be used to make phone calls with for quite a while by now, however the features of the Nokia 3510i go way beyond that. A MMS-Service is the most revolutionary innovation with the Nokia 3510i. Within minutes color-pictures with or without audio message, SMS and simple audio files van be sent via java application.
The Nokia 3510i clearly indicates the way to multimedia communication!
A 100 names can be stored on the internal memory of the Nokia 3510i and in addition to that up to 250 names can still be saved on its sim-card (however this still varies from sim-card to sim-card).
You can assign a personalized ringer tone to all address book entries, so as you instantly know who actually rings you up without even looking at the phone. The melody composer of the Nokia 3510i is another nice extra.
With the Nokia 3510i you even have to a voice dial option. Although I need to admit that I never had much luck with that, as it seems to have a problem with bearish accents. I don't know people who use it very successfully either.
You will as well find most of the Nokia 3510i's functions in its precursor of Nokia 3510i, the Nokia 3510. The 'i' actually stands for several technical improvements of the Nokia 3510i: further developed interface, higher speed for data transfer, larger memory and a better reception quality.
In my opinion the Nokia 3510i is the first cyber-space mobile phone, the display quality shows terrific effects, only the sound quality of the Nokia 3510i should be better.
The Nokia 3510i features a damn lot for little money. Technical functions of the Nokia 3510i seem to make up for the rather big size of the Nokia 3510i, its only real disadvantage.
