The Nokia 6250 - it feels like flying !!!
Plus of the Nokia 6250: robustness, W@p-browser
Minus of the Nokia 6250: no changeable covers (don't fly too high...), not really an eye-catcher, maybe too heavy to fly with...
If you're somebody who's not afraid of bungee-jumping, free climbing, sky-diving, then I guess you're the right person to own a Nokia 6250. I only know 'extreme' people, who own the Nokia 6250. I consider that somewhat striking...
However I've as well heard that the Nokia 6250 is appreciated by 'workaholics' too, since it works just as hard and good as they do. Then again workaholics are 'extreme' people too, yet in a completely different way. Figures, the Nokia 6250 seems to be something for determined users, who aim at the reliability and robustness of the Nokia 6250. The Nokia 6250 does indeed feature a robust carapace and its inside is 'extreme' indeed. Thus the Nokia 6250 perfectly suits most of its owners. There's nothing weak to be found about the Nokia 6250.
The Nokia 6250 was the first mobile that convinced me of quality and processing being the most important aspect of a good mobile.
Before I got to know the Nokia 6250 closer, I though that all mobiles are processed the very same, simple way. But then the Nokia 6250 changed my mind.
By the way, the Nokia 6250 is supposed to be the first 'peptic mobile phone' ever: one of my mom's friends tried to eat the Nokia 6210 when he tried to cross the Albanian border. He must have hidden something behind the battery flap of the Nokia 6250. It seems the flap of the Nokia 6250 is quite robust...
It worked though, he crossed the border, but in a panic attack he wanted to get rid of the flap and its inside. The Nokia 6250 was wracked and he had a bad, bad stomach-ache...
The Nokia 6250 is really robust, let it be rain, shock, heat or dust, it can just cope with anything.
With its 118 g (not including the battery yet) the Nokia 6250 is way too heavy to fly over a border. And with dimensions of 14,8 cm length, 5,8 cm width und 2,7 cm depth the Nokia 6250 would even be too big for an elephant stomach.
The telephone book of the Nokia 6250 saves up to 500 entries, apart from that the Nokia 6250 features an integrated modem as well as infrared.
The battery (Lithium-ion battery) of the Nokia 6250 is very good. The Nokia 6250 needs to be charged every week, but you don't need to take along the charger if you go on a trip over the weekend. You are able to talk about 4,5 hours and the standby time of the Nokia 6250 adds up to about 260 hours. The mobile works in London, Rio, Berlin... but not in the US! I really don't get why the Nokia 6250 is no TriBand mobile?
The Nokia 6250 might be the best phone I've owned so far. The ONLY bad thing about the Nokia 6250 is that this phone freezes when doing one of the following two things; when deleting a SMS message a little animation can appear on the display of the Nokia 6250. Sometimes the Nokia 6250 freezes and has to be turned off. And very often when I try synchronizing the Nokia 6250 with Outlook, the Nokia 6250 will freeze very, very bad and I even have to take out the battery of the Nokia 6250 to reset it. Probably these are software failures which can be fixed, I don't know for sure though.
Anyway, at this stage my Nokia 6250 has a sentimental value to me, I just adore my Nokia 6250!!!
