I lost my last mobile phone in a quite embarassing manner, I dropped it in the toilet and it was not to be saved anymore since it was entirely soaked with water. The consequence of this experience for me was, that the next mobile phone I should buy, would be a somewhat more robust and more imperishable modell.
Extactly at that point the Siemens M35i was launched and I immediately knew that the Siemens M35i was meant to be mine. Obviously my decision was a bit harum-scarum, but I do not regret having bought the Siemens M35i even a tiny bit!
Before I will begin with the description of the design of the Siemens M35i, I have to clearly outline that the Siemens M35i is an outdoor mobile phone, thus it is especially water, shock and dust resistant. The Siemens M35i is built especially robustly and hard-wearingly so as the Siemens M35i can cope with the most dreadful situation without breaking over it. I still highly doubt that even the Siemens M35i would survive a dive in the toilet but I guess it would definitely have better prerequisits than all the other mobiles.
It only needs a swift glimpse at the Siemens M35i and one can tell that there is something different about the Siemens M35i. The surface of the Siemens M35i is not made of plastic/metal as other modells are, but it is covered by a rubber-like material. This cover material is available in either yellow, grey or blue colour.
The design of the Siemens M35i is quiet individual and therefore as well unique. Simply by looking at the Siemens M35i one seems to detect that the Siemens M35i is way more robust than the rest of the mobile world. The Siemens M35i is kept quite small, thanks to an integrated antenna, and therefore has dimensions of 118x42x22mm. Despite of being so very durable, the Siemens M35i merely weighs 130g.
The screen of the Siemens M35i is rather small, since it has the size of four lines only, but that should still do. You can find basic information on the battery, network and server on the screen, furthermore there are two quicklinks in the lower corners of the screen, which provide access to the telephone book and the message composition. The keys of the Siemens M35i are, just as the rest of the surface, covered with a rubber material in order to compress the Siemens M35i. Although the rubber material is much softer than the usual plastic cover, the keys can not be pressed easily, in the contrary, they are rather unwieldy. But that's not all too dramatic...
The progressive Siemens technology is of quite some help when operating the Siemens M35i. Same as all the other Siemens menus, the menu of the Siemens M35i is logically structured and clearly outlined. Even though I was already used to operating a Siemens before getting the Siemens M35i, I strongly believe that operating the Siemens M35i is no big plague to anyone.
That the Siemens M35i offers many, many functions and features over and above being outdoor-capable, what makes the Siemens M35i even more remarkable.
The Siemens M35i is a Dual Band phone equipped with a vibratory alert-battery. The stand-by time of the battery of the Siemens M35i mounts up to 180 hours while the talk time is about five hours. Charging the battery of the Siemens M35i will take you about two hours.
The telephone book of the Siemens M35i memorizes up to 250 numbers, however this figure depends on the SIM-card. The Siemens M35i covers 100 entries in addition to the memory capacity of the SIM-card.
The messaging function of the Siemens M35i is convincing, a message can contain up to 160 characters and the composition of messages is assissted by the T9 predictive text. Further more you can send and receive picture messages with the Siemens M35i.
Having an integrated organizer comes in quiet handy as well, you can access a calendar, an appointment manager, an alarm function, a calculator, a stop watch and many more features with the organizer. You have the choice between four games with the Siemens M35i and depending on you mood a ringing tone out of the range of 20 meldies can be chosen. If you still don't like any of the ringer melodies of the Siemens M35i, these can be composd by the user him-/herself and later the composition can be saved on the Siemens M35i.
As the name already tells, the Siemens M35i is able to access the internet, that's why the Siemens M35i possesses a w@p-browser with which you can even receive/send data and faxes on the Siemens M35i.
The reception quality of the Siemens M35i is absolutely faultless, I haven't made any bad experience so far. If I did have a less satisfactory reception, this was a consequence of the weak network.
The technology of the Siemens M35i is absolutely excellent, I have never had problems with the Siemens M35i due to technical failure. It's not all too surprising, that the sound quality of the Siemens M35i is very good, I have never had such noises as hissing and cracks in my line.
The combination of all these elements is what I love most about the Siemens M35i. The Siemens M35i seems to possess just anything, what one can demand from a well-functioning mobile phone.
The outdoor function of the Siemens M35i gives me a reassuring feeling, since I am not obliged to continously look after the well-being of the Siemens M35i.
The Siemens M35i is a particularly felicious mobil phone, since it fulfils so very many expectations and parallel to that handles all its functions so very well.
