Test report and technical data Maxon MX A10
Maxon MX A10 - the potential big hit
Plus of the Maxon MX A10: GPRS, color display, Java, MMS
Minus of the Maxon MX A10: dual band
I work for a major mobile phone company and therefore I always have to be up-to-date regarding the newest mobiles. Of course I have to do a lot of research, and during that I often find exceptional but interesting mobile phones that nobody has heard of before. My favorites in that category are the Asian companies, you can find the most unusual stuff there.
One of them is the Korean manufacturer Maxon.
It's really difficult to get info about the Maxon-models on the net, but I managed to get at least the essential data of most Maxons. I like the Maxon MX A10 the best.
I can't tell you much about the design of the Maxon MX A10 though, I haven't found a single picture of the model online. It's weird that there isn't anything on the manufacturer's homepage either, but maybe the info is in Korean and I just can't access it. Most Maxon clients are the local people of course; maybe a translation just wouldn't pay off so far. At least that's my guess.
The technical specifications of the Maxon MX A10 left a big impression on me. Until now I had only heard of simple hand phones from Maxon, but the Maxon MX A10 really sounds good.
The Maxon MX A10 weighs 95 g and is equipped with a good color display that has a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels.
The Maxon MX A10 has polyphonic ringer tones, but that's all I could find out about features and design of the Maxon MX A10. There's more about data transfer to the Maxon MX A10 though.
The Maxon MX A10 is well-equipped in this category: it has a WAP-browser (Version 2.0) and GPRS. In addition the Java technology is integrated in the Maxon MX A10, and it has the so-called I-Mode included. Accordingly, the Maxon MX A10 is MMS-capable.
The qualities of the Maxon MX A10 truly sound good, especially regarding the price. Information like battery performance, sound quality and reception remain a mystery. I would really love to test the Maxon MX A10, because due to its low price and other data the Maxon MX A10 has the potential to be a big hit newcomer, even in the European market.
