Test report and technical data Maxon MX 7812
Maxon MX 7812 - A lot of phone at a low weight
Plus of the Maxon MX 7812: good battery, GPRS
Minus of the Maxon MX 7812: dual-band
The Korean company Maxon is not widely known here. Its mobile phones didn't really make it into our market yet, and they even have trouble getting into the neighboring Asian markets.
Maxon's products aren't world shaking anyway.
The Maxon MX 7812 is the middle-class mobile from Maxon.
The Maxon MX 7812 is distinguished by its good battery, which has a standby time of 250 hours and is capable of 4 hours of phone calls.
The dual-band phone Maxon MX 7812 weighs only 90 g, in spite of its high-performance battery.
The Maxon MX 7812 is well-equipped for data transfer, especially mentionable are IrDA, class 10 GPRS and WAP-browser (Version 1.2.1).
The Maxon MX 7812 is EMS capable, too. Writing SMS is made easy by the integrated T9-software of the Maxon MX 7812.
We really didn't find anything else on the Maxon MX 7812, their mobiles simply aren't known well enough. But design-wise the Maxon MX 7812 doesn't look too bad.
