Test report and technical data Maxon MX 7920
Maxon MX 7920 - So small, so powerful!
Plus of the Maxon MX 7920: small and lightweight, good battery
Minus of the Maxon MX 7920: Athene
While the Maxon MX 7920 is virtually unknown in Germany, it has been successfully added to the contingent of major British providers and is sold every day. That is why I know the Maxon MX 7920. I spent a semester abroad in London and wanted to have a mobile phone of course. The Maxon MX 7920 was available in a cheap package then, and I bought it although I didn't know the Maxon MX 7920.
As it turned out I hadn't made a bad deal at all, because the foldable Maxon MX 7920 has exactly what I look for in a mobile phone, it's small, light and has good features.
It's even very small, the Maxon MX 7920. It measures just 65 x 37 x 21,5 mm and weighs 65g, you'll rarely find figures like that again.
The Maxon MX 7920 doesn't have a color display yet, but a relatively big black and white display on the inside and a small one on the outside.
Neither functionality, nor features suffer under the size.
The battery of the Maxon MX 7920 even is outstandingly powerful, it will last for 250 hours in standby and 5 hours during calls!
The address book of the Maxon MX 7920 has room for 250 entries and incoming calls are indicated by vibration and polyphonic ringer tone.
The Maxon MX 7920 is suitable for data transfer as well, for that the Maxon MX 7920 is equipped with GPRS, WAP-browser, fax and data modem. The Maxon MX 7902 even has an e-mail client and the Maxon MX 7902 can be synchronized with a PC.
Writing SMS is supported by the T9-software, otherwise you can just EMS with the Maxon MX 7920.
Finally, the Maxon MX 7920 also has games and a calculator.
The Maxon MX 7920 was perfect for my time in England, especially because it is so small and all around suitable; and I could take the Maxon MX 7920 anywhere.
I don't understand why the Maxon MX 7920 isn't known on the German market, I don't think that we have higher demands than the British, even though we are pampered by our "national mobile" Siemens.
