My girlfriend always tries to be different than anyone else. She and a Nokia? No way!
It had to be Panasonic EB GD 50, and she's happy with it!
Panasonic EB GD 50 is a Dual Band device, thus runs in both the D-net and the E-net.
The menu is structured well and easy to follow. Furthermore, Panasonic EB GD 50 provides you with 20 different ringing tones. Other features of Panasonic EB GD 50 are a diary function, an alarm function, time/ date, calculator and currency calculator. The data/fax modem enables you to send and receive e-mails and faxes. My girlfriend doesn't mind that Panasonic EB GD 50 does not have a text construction support. I think I would, though.
There is a teleconference option in Panasonic EB GD 50, which my girlfriend never uses. Yet she brags about it. Girls! I am glad Panasonic EB GD 50 comes with a hands free talking device - otherwise I would not make it out of my girlfriend's car alive.
Panasonic EB GD 50 weighs 115 g, is rather small and lies nicely in one's hand - and in my girl's purse, where Panasonic EB GD 50 usually refuses to be found in.
Panasonic EB GD 50 comes in the colors blue, silver and black and with a strong Li-Ion battery - bye bye memory effect!
In stand - by mode, Panasonic EB GD 50 will last about 100 hours. You shouldn't talk for more than three hours, though.
The inch-long antenna of Panasonic EB GD 50 is a little irritating, but can be helped.
There are smaller antennas available on the market. Check out eBay or so.
Panasonic EB GD 50 must be rather solid, too. When my girlfriend and I had a fight one time, she threw it at me, hit the wall (rather hard, too), but Panasonic EB GD 50 didn't mind. It never has, so far, no matter how hard she dropped it.
