Test report and technical data Philips Fisio 820
Philips Fisio 820 crystal blue: grudgers for sure, just as the search for the right cable...
A user draws a stock.
Plus of the Philips Fisio 820: vanishing small, design, colour display
Minus of the Philips Fisio 820: no infrared, no cable for data transfer, T9-text input doesn't work properly
Greetings to y'all out there!
Finally it was time again for a new mobile phone: it had to be a real good looking one this time. The handsome guy in the shop wanted to show me the ideal mobile, unfortunately it had 'disappeared'. Somebody must've stolen it, the Philips Fisio 820. So I went off, looking for the Philips Fisio 820 somewhere on the street...
Finally I got it: the Philips Fisio 820 with lot of advantages.
To begin with: the design. The Philips Fisio 820 looks really way better than any other mobile phone. Since it was available in three different colours, I decided to get the Philips Fisio 820 in crystal blue (instead of Mars red and congiac).
Its size of 9.5 x 4.6 cm impressed me instantly, the Philips Fisio 820 is a quite quadratic piece.
Eye-catching as well: the shape of the Philips Fisio 820. It is formed like a pear, the Philips Fisio 820 frames the keypad with the cross-like arranged keys. The menu of the Philips Fisio 820 is to be completely navigated via the cross-like arranged keys. I have to admit it took me a couple of days to get used to this progressive function, but if you once get the clou, handling the Philips Fisio 820 won't be a problem whatsoever.
To compensate this beginning problems, the Philips Fisio 820 comes with a huge display which is rich in contrast and colour. As a mobile phone of the new generation, the Philips Fisio 820 also allows sending and receiving image messages and emails. The organizer, well-integrated in the Philips Fisio 820 , is very easy to use, which stands very much in contrast to the navigation of the telephone book of the Philips Fisio 820.
The Philips Fisio 820 also allows data transfer via bluetooth or data cable, yet these accessories are not included in delivery. I searched the entire city for those accessories, however without success. I have no clue how to get my hands on that stuff, a big, big mistake from the manufacturer, you shouldn't do that to your clients!
Speaking about Bluetooth: I tried to receive texts with graphical animations and also image messages from a Siemens S55 on the Philips Fisio 820, all in vain. Sending them with the Philips Fisio 820 worked frictionless though.
All in all, I have to admit that Bluetooth requires some more work in the Philips Fisio 820, unfortunately - the Philips Fisio 820 would be a really good device with lots of features, if it only managed the data transfer on a higher level.
In spite of all criticism the Philips Fisio 820 convinced me with its functionality. You can store up to three numbers for each entry, which comes in really handy from time to time.
A greater disadvantage of the phone however is, that the T9 typing program doesn't allow adding any new words; as a consequence of that you have to shift to manual use while writing a message, which is quite bothering.
The little detail of our Philips Fisio 820 at one glance: as usual the Philips Fisio 820 comes with alarm clock, currency calculator, voice tools and - dialing. Altogether the Philips Fisio 820 is equipped with a memory of 275 kilobyte. The first feature I checked was the w@p-browser, which is assisted by grps-technology.
I have to say it's a great feature of the Philips Fisio 820, adding up the right speed for the data transfer, although the Philips Fisio 820 comes without hscsd.
The battery in the Philips Fisio 820 satisfies me indeed: 3 days stand-by time before charging the Philips Fisio 820 again are quite reasonable.
