The Samsung SGH M100 ain't that bad!
A female friend of mine got the Samsung SGH M100 last week. I didn't like it at first, purely due to its design. The Samsung SGH M100 looks like a rectangular box that is equipped with a flap. It is a Dual Band phone that weighs 97 g and has dimensions of 106x44x19,3. It's stand-by time only reaches sad 55 hours.
The screen of the Samsung SGH M100 glimmers in green light, that's just fine. However in regard to the integrated games the screen quality is insufficient.
The extraordinary thing about the Samsung SGH M100 is its 32 MB memory capacity with a built-in MP-3 Software: data can be directly transferred from the internet. The MP-3 equipment covers ear-plugs and a remote control. The data transfer of the Samsung SGH M100 can reach a maximum speed of 9,6 kb/s, which potentiates 70 to 80 minutes of transfer time. Important: The MP-3 memory can not be extended!
Yet the infrared connection of the Samsung SGH M100 transfers data from the net with a speed of 14,4 kb/s.
The Mp-3 data should therefore be loaded on the PC before sending it on the Samsung SGH M100. Kinda impractical, but u should really do so if u care about your bill at the end of the month.
The standard functions of the Samsung SGH M100 are a planner, alarm clock, calculator and vibratory alert. The calendar function is structured in a complex way. Same with the telephone book, it is not arranged ideally either, only 100 entries can be saved. Compared to that the operation of the Samsung SGH M100 is really cheap, a navigation key directs the users into the telephone book. With the function key u can reach the main menu in order to activate all the other standards.
Upon reception of a message, the Samsung SGH M100 makes a signal.
The Samsung SGH M100 has an appropriate standard equipment, which is well-functioning and except for the calendar function easily operated. In regard to the use of the MP-3 Player u shouldn't forget downloading music to the computer before and transferring it to the Samsung SGH M100, instead of directly downloading it to the Samsung SGH M100.
The value for money is well adjusted to the performance of the cheaper Samsung SGH M100.
