During the CeBIT '03 the British manufacturer Sendo has demonstrated its latest model for simpler users. This Sendo S300 is primarily designed for the pre-paid market. The Sendo S300 is the successor of the S200, only that the Sendo S300 has lost some weight and size compared to the S200.
The design of the Sendo S300 has a breeze of youthful liveliness. Merely weighing 90 g the Sendo S300 can be taken just anywhere without annoying. The Sendo S300 will be available in many different colours.
The DualBand Sendo S300 offers a stand-by time of 260 hours and an actual talk time of up to 5 hours.
A simple an logical menu-structure are another pro of the Sendo S300.
Extensive voice- and messaging-functions especially assign the Sendo S300. Regrettably the Sendo S300 does not cover GPRS, not to mention WAP. It is however planned to develop special editions of the Sendo S300 which will covers those lacking functions.
In terms of entertainment and the Sendo S300 it can be said, that there will be ringer-tones, as well as screensaver and games, which can all be downloaded from the net.
Further functions, such as preinstalled ringer melodies, memory for downloaded ringer melodies, alarm and T9-software are as well covered by the Sendo S300.
Without having used the Sendo S300 so far, the Sendo S300 sounds like a well-equipped middle-class mobile phone similar to the Siemens C-series. Let's just hope, that the Sendo S300 can cope with its many competitors and make its way on the market.
