I've waited for so long for the SonyEricsson P800. After having been really satisfied with the SonyEricsson R380, I knew that the features and technical possibilities of the SonyEricsson P800 were barely to be beaten.
I saved the required money for the SonyEricsson P800. After all the SonyEricsson P800 is not all too cheap. I know, it does sound insane to invest so much money in a mobile phone, but others spend that kind of money on beer and are not described as freaks.
I wanted to have a PDA with features such as calendar, e-mail, document legibility (Word, Excel, PDF) WAV-files, MP3, color-display, video trailer etc., a top-mobile. The SonyEricsson P800 offers all that and even more.
All of u people, who think that the SonyEricsson P800 is too big (117 x 59 x 27 mm); the SonyEricsson P800 is a mobile phone and PDA in one!! Thus nobody can freaking tell me that the SonyEricsson P800 is too big, when combining these functions, it's like a 2-in-1. The SonyEricsson P800 would be too heavy for a mobile with its 160 g, but not too heavy for a smartphone.
My SonyEricsson P800 is baby-blue and white. The SonyEricsson P800 has a flap with a built-in keypad. Is the flap once opened, u can see the huge display of the SonyEricsson P800 with its size of 144 x 208 mm and a resolution of 320 x 208 Pixel.
The SonyEricsson P800 has impressing graphics. Playing games on the SonyEricsson P800 is pure pleasure, same with looking at video trailers on the SonyEricsson P800.
There is a Jog-Dial adjusted on the left side of the SonyEricsson P800. A Memory-Stick slot, a camera and keys for the internet access can be found on the right side of the SonyEricsson P800. Still remaining, the bottom of the SonyEricsson P800, which offers a port for various cables.
Charging station, Sync Station, a fitting with PC-connection cable, a cover for the flap, a stereo headset, the 16 MB Memory Stick, an adapter, and pocket are integrated in the delivery of the SonyEricsson P800.
If the flap of the SonyEricsson P800 is closed, the SonyEricsson P800 is barely to be distinguished from other mobiles. The Jog-Dial allows operating all function of the SonyEricsson P800 with only one finger. When opening the flap of the SonyEricsson P800, the SonyEricsson P800 will illuminate in its entire splendor.
Thanks to its Stylus, the SonyEricsson P800 can be operated like a palm. U don't need to read through the user manual of the SonyEricsson P800 to be able to handle the SonyEricsson P800. Handling the SonyEricsson P800 is easily done via the Jog-Dial and Stylus.
Connecting the SonyEricsson P800 to the PC is done easily by connecting the Sync Station with the PC via USB. Only the software still needs to be installed.
Hereby synchronizing the SonyEricsson P800 with Outlook and accessing pictures, music, video, games or ringer tones is made possible. The camera of the SonyEricsson P800 takes pictures with a VGA-resolution of 640 x 480 Pixel. Of course u can receive and send MMS with the SonyEricsson P800.
16 MB are actually insufficient for MP3s and especially videos can't be played-back entirely on the SonyEricsson P800. That's why a 64 MB and even 128 MB Memory Stick will be available in April 2003. All the MP3-freaks will be quite happy about that
I can't enlist all the features of the SonyEricsson P800 that would just be too damn much. But believe me, there's no other mobile on the current market, which could top the SonyEricsson P800. The SonyEricsson P800 combines mobile phone, organizer and game-console. The SonyEricsson P800 is a very practical organizer- as well as business-tool with a great entertainment factor. Whoever has the money to get a SonyEricsson P800, do so! U sure won't be disappointed!
