Hey there,
today I want to talk about Telme T918 that I have been using for a couple of weeks now. I do not regret the purchase of Telme T918 one bit. I know that Telme T918 is not a highlight in the world of mobile communication, especially since it weighs 110 g! But its features and its price compensate for Telme T918's weight.
The dimensions of Telme T918 are 111 x 50 x 20 mm, keypad and color screen go together nicely. Although it does have an appealing exterior, it is yet solid. Telme T918 does not scratch easily and its functions are not affected no matter how many times you drop Telme T918. If Telme T918 does get badly scratched, one can change its cover jackets - a feature that I do not really need in a mobile.
Telme T918 features sufficient memory capacity. Up to 500 numbers can be saved in Telme T918's phone book. Also, one can arrange one's numbers into groups.
Regarding its technical features, I am impressed by Telme T918: It has got everything that its competitors provide as well. There are an integrated modem, T9 text construction soft ware, WAP, an IrDA interface, EMS, MMS and SMS, a calculator, a melody editor (which I do not know how to use; Telme T918's instruction manual is so boring!), a great organizer and vibratory alert offered by Telme T918. The conference function makes Telme T918 a mobile of the future business world; the same is true of Telme T918's color screen.
If I had a PC, I could download MP3s from it onto Telme T918. Its picture quality is above average. Telme T918 has got a Li ion battery that is very efficient: It provides a battery stand - by time of 300 hours and a talking time of 150 minutes.
Unfortunately, Telme T918 is a Dual Band device and thus cannot be used in the USA. Another disadvantage is the reception quality of Telme T918, which could be better.
Still I can recommend Telme T918, although I have to make restrictions: First, you must forgive Telme T918 for its weight. Second, you need to be patient when Telme T918 is processing more complicated tasks.
Technically, Telme T918 is well equipped. I am sure you could have fun with it.
