Finally we can go on a holiday without cursing telecommunications. Why? Telit G82 runs especially smooth in southern areas and thus honors its home country, Italy. By the way, Telit G82 is also produced in Italy, and not somewhere in the Third World.
Telit G 82 is a really stylish, just like the inhabitants of sunny Italy. It is amazing what a device that only weighs 90 g at a size of 114 x 53 x 27mm can do:
Telit G82 features GPRS CLASS 8 (4+1) and WAP 2.0, two more highlights next to Telit G82's design.
But let me tell you some more about basic equipment and special features of Telit G82 and about its efficiency and functionality.
Telit G82 would not mind a stay in the U.S. since it is a Triband device that supports all three network areas (GSM 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz).
Excellent reception quality ensures one's link to the outside world even deep in the woods or high up on a mountain, in spite of the internal antenna.
Telit G82 features a Li ion battery with 550 mAh. It will not break off a connection unless you talk for more than 6.5 hours straight, but Telit G82 will only last about 250 hours in stand - by mode, which means it needs to be charged two or three times a week. Otherwise, connections of a different kind might break off: 'Hey man, why didn't you call???' Sorry, Telit G82, but you have let me down too often in this regard, and thus I have let down my friends! It is a pity.
Well, at least we got over with my main point of criticism. Because of this flaw, I am not too sure whether I would purchase Telit G82 again, although I am really satisfied both by design and ease of use of Telit G82: Via navigation key and ergonomically arranged keypad one makes one's way through the menu in no time.
I mean Telit G82 features all standards of modern mobiles: Calculator, vibratory alert, assigned ringing tones that separate important from unimportant calls and many more. I have no complaints about number and ease of use of Telit G82's features.
If you do not like it to attract attention, stay away from Telit G82: It is so eye catching that my girlfriend becomes jealous at times!
