Test report and technical data Trium Geo A
Trium Geo a - WAPping for beginners
Pros of Trium Geo a: reasonable price, easy to handle
Cons of Trium Geo a: weird shape, weight
Hi everyone.
When I picked up my son Justin from his elementary school, I overheard the conversation of two young girls. They were talking (quite knowingly, as it seemed to me) about the WAP functions of their new mobiles. Once again I had to realize how little I know about technical matters. So back home I asked Justin to inform me about cell phones. He advised me to go buy Trium Geo a: 'Even granny can surf the net with Trium Geo a, so maybe you will be able to do so, too!' Quite a charming child, isn't he?
So later that day we went to buy Trium Geo a. It was the beginning of a wonderful friendship between me and Trium Geo a. Trium Geo a is certainly worth its money (little money, by the way). One can surf the internet via Trium Geo a's WAP browser, Justin had told me before. The internet! Another mystery to me.
If Trium Geo a was not metallic-blue with silver dots, one could easily confuse it with a dog's bone. But then Trium Geo a's interior has got more to offer than a bone's. It still took a while to convince our dog to give his 'toy-bone', Trium Geo a, back to us. But when one of the 30 ringing tones went off, the dog had enough! At least we knew now that Trium Geo a cannot be damaged by a dog's wet mouth.
Trium Geo a is very handy. Justin was complaining about its weight of 149 g, but I do not find that very heavy. But since Trium Geo a is my first mobile, I cannot compare its weight to others. The dimensions of Trium Geo a are 130 x 47 x 27 mm. Trium Geo a's antenna pulls out to a length of 110 mm. Justin taught me how to answer and end calls simply by opening or closing Trium Geo a's flap, which also poses as key lock.
Furthermore, Justin showed me how to save numbers in Trium Geo a's phone book. 99 numbers can be saved here. Trium Geo a also allows to save ten numbers in the quick dial function, so I only have to push one button to reach the most important numbers.
The writing of SMS turned out to be more complicated, until I read through Trium Geo a's understandable manual. The messaging function of Trium Geo a is supported by the so called T9 predictive text soft ware, which makes writing SMS a lot easier once you have understood how this works.
You can send SMS from Trium Geo a as fax, text or paging. Alas, no message can be longer than 160 signs, which I find too few. But Justin said this is the same with all cell phones.
Justin really enjoys the two games featured by Trium Geo a, 'Reshape' and 'Push'. Honestly, even I liked them a lot, although I am usually opposing computer games.
Trium Geo a has got a lithium ion battery that provides a stand - by time of 150 hours a; if you talk on Trium Geo a for three hours straight, though, the battery will go flat on you.
I remember how surprised I was when I saw Trium Geo a wandering over the table for the first time - due to its vibratory alert.
When my husband came home from work the day I purchased Trium Geo a, Justin showed this 'jewel' to him - and both vanished. I found them at the PC, where they were trying the soft ware and the adapter cable that came with Trium Geo a.
Once they were done, I was told that everything worked just as stated in Trium Geo a's manual (what a surprise!). I was also explained how to activate Trium Geo a's net monitor: All one has to do is dial *4329.
It was getting dark outside, so I noticed the green-lit screen of Trium Geo a better. I liked it.
All in all, I am really glad my little son advised me to buy Trium Geo a. In the days that followed my purchase, Justin introduced me to the internet. If I had known before how easy it would be to surf the net with Trium Geo a, I might have gotten it a long time ago. It was wrong skepticism that kept me from buying a mobile, but Trium Geo a cleared all worries.
