Test report and technical data Trium M320
Trium M320: a colorful device
Pros of Trium M320: color screen, messaging functions, design
Cons of Trium M320: no digital Cam
Finally, Trium seems to catch up with other devices on the market. Trium M320 is a lot more promising than its predecessors.
Especially eye catching is Trium M320's youthful design. Silver colored and providing a big color screen, Trium M320 leaves a dynamical impression. Trium M320 is also available in blue and gold but I guess it will not look bad in any color!
Back to Trium M320's huge display: It features 4,096 colors and has got a resolution of 128 x 141 pixels. The antenna of Trium M320 is integrated into the device, of course. The fact that the Dual Band device Trium M320 only weighs 95 g at a size of 115.5 x 47 x 19.9 mm deserves praise.
Trium M320 has got a strong battery that will last up to 350 hours in stand - by mode and four hours, when actually talking.
Mobile phones of the medium price range, such as Trium M320, offer many features nowadays. The transfer of data with Trium M320 must be mentioned here: Trium M320 provides GPRS ( class 8 ) and a WAP browser (version 1.2.1). The latter makes the viewing of pictures possible. Unfortunately, one can neither send EMS nor MMS. Trium M320 compensates this with an integrated modem. Furthermore, Trium M320 features an infra red interface to connect it with a PC or other PDAs.
Unique about Trium M320 is the possibility to personalize it. Polyphone ringing tones, changeable covers and pictures allow recreating Trium M320 according to one's wishes. Up to 60 ringing tones can be saved on Trium M320, both downloaded and self-composed ones.
Since Trium M320 is made especially for the younger generation, the messaging function is supported by T9. Also, one can send chained SMS with Trium M320. Up to 150 SMSs can be saved in Trium M320.
Voice dial and an integrated hands free talking device are almost self-evident for Trium M320.
Furthermore, there is a big number of games provided by Trium M320 that can even be extended via downloads.
Doesn't that sound good? It does! But still, we should wait until Trium M320 has been on the market a little longer before we buy it in order to make sure there is really nothing wrong with it.
