You want my opinion about Trium Mondo? All right. Trium Mondo is a device made by the devil himself, so don't say afterwards that I did not warn you!
I wanted to throw Trium Mondo against the wall so many times, but I figure it would not even survive this in a padded cell. By the way, a padded cell is where I might end up soon - due to Trium Mondo. The only reason I did not kill my mobile so far is that I am still hoping to be able to sell Trium Mondo.
So why did I purchase Trium Mondo in the first place? Because Trium Mondo can convince on first sight. Especially when there is a salesperson who praises Trium Mondo like it was a catholic saint.
O.k., the equipment of Trium Mondo is kind of cool. It comes with a head set and a pretty looking leather case. Did your mommy tell you not to go for looks but for someone's (or something's) interior? Believe me, she was right. The extras Trium Mondo comes with do not compensate for its many disadvantages. Well, maybe the manufacturer attempted to justify the high price of Trium Mondo.
First of all I found out that Trium Mondo does not have an integrated mailbox, which makes viewing your missed calls complicated and expensive. Since Trium Mondo is supposedly an all-rounder, it should not be lacking such an important function!
Probably Mitsubishi thought that if they were providing only a small memory capacity in Trium Mondo, they might as well make it really really really small. Trium Mondo's SMS and e-mail functions but also the note pad and the call saving function suffer severely from the tiny saving capacity. Of 16 MB, half is needed to support the phone soft ware of Trium Mondo; this is for the saving of picture messages, MP3 files or video files. There is just not enough memory capacity left for Trium Mondo 'normal' functions.
And Trium Mondo is sooo slow!
Trium Mondo is run by Intel StrongArm 1110 processor synchronized with 166 MHz that should theoretically equal a Concorde concerning its speed. Practically, Trium Mondo has got more of a hot-air balloon.
Furthermore, Trium Mondo is way too big (139 x 85 x 20 mm plus a 19 mm long antenna!). It weighs 209 g. I did not even know there were such heavy cell phones around anymore in the 21st century! I mean it is kind of dangerous to put your heavy Trium Mondo in the pockets of lose pants...And if you do not want girls to stare at the huge bump in your pants for the wrong reasons, stay away from Trium Mondo.
Trium Mondo is not apt for mobile communication, a great disadvantage for a cell phone, don't you agree?
But hey, there is actually something good about Trium Mondo, too: It features pocket-PC connection and has got thus a high resolving screen (240 x 320 pixels). So one can transfer data easily from Trium Mondo onto one's PC and the other way around.
If Trium Mondo was not so hard to handle, one might actually use the function mentioned above. The display of Trium Mondo is well and green-lit and can be read without effort. (As you can see I try to be unbiased. Still I would not even recommend Trium Mondo to my worst enemy.)
Trium Mondo is bulky and anything but nice looking. It really lags behind its competitors.
The hands free talking device of Trium Mondo deserves mentioning, especially since it actually works! Alas, one will not recognize the voice of one's vis-à-vis:Reception and sound quality of Trium Mondo can definitely be improved.
The data input is possible in two different ways with Trium Mondo. First, one can download music and so on via the virtual keypad and the pen that comes with it. Second, one can use the transcriber of Trium Mondo (a program that recognizes hand writing).
Well, my conclusion is not hard to be figured out:
If you want to get your girlfriend to break up with you, give her Trium Mondo. If you are still looking for an April's fool's joke, try Trium Mondo. Remember to steal Trium Mondo, though, before you give it away. It is not worth to be purchased.
Hope I could discourage you from ever getting Trium Mondo.
