Test report and technical data Motorola M 3588
In spite of doubts in the beginning I am now satisfied with Motorola M 3588
Pros of Motorola M 3588: reasonable price, very solid
Cons of Motorola M 3588: weak battery
You know how it is, when a layperson tries to inform them about mobile communication. You will hear a different opinion from everybody you ask.
One year ago I decided to finally get a cell phone because I was tired of being regarded old-fashioned.
All of my friends in my ladies' group already had one. Well, I had been looking around a little and discovered Motorola M 3588 that I liked because it appeared so solid.
So when I told my friends about it one night, I was confronted with rather negative reactions of all these Siemens and Nokia owners who advised me not to purchase Motorola M 3588.
Since I have always been quite a stubborn person, I did not listen to them and bought Motorola M 3588 two days later. In the beginning I would not tell anyone about my purchase and spent some time by myself to get to know all the different functions first, so I would not embarrass myself later.
Handling Motorola M 3588 is even easy enough for me, and I learned all about its features in pretty much no time. Motorola M 3588's manual is well arranged and easily understood.
This surprised me for I was told by several people how hard to understand these instruction manuals usually are.
Motorola M 3588 also provides a speed menu that prevents you from searching the entire main menu.
As I said earlier, Motorola M 3588 is very solid, too. I have already dropped several times and it still works just fine.
I bought a pre-paid card along with the mobile so I could test for myself at first whether I like mobile communication at all.
I believe Motorola M 3588 is a dual Band phone. This means, it will adjust itself to the local network operator. This means too, that I am the only one who is able to make phone calls with my Motorola M 3588 when all my friends' phones cannot find service. I, in contrary, will always find service, even when I am way out in the country, and I will still enjoy good reception quality.
Unfortunately, the battery of Motorola M 3588 is pretty weak. Whenever I talk on the phone for more than two hours, I will have to hurry somewhere where I can recharge Motorola M 3588.
I was told to let Motorola M 3588's battery run completely empty before I charge it again, because the so called memory effect might weaken the battery's durability.
All in all, I am quite happy with Motorola M 3588 and glad that I listened to myself and not to these old witches in my ladies' group. And in case I really want another model of mobile phone one day, I will get a contract with it. By then I will surely want to talk more.
I will let you know if I do get a new phone. I really like the fact that one can share one's thoughts and experiences this way.
