Test report and technical data Motorola Timeport 260
A late night experience with Motorola Timeport 260
Pros of Motorola Timeport 260: convincing functionality, design
Cons of Motorola Timeport 260: no Bluetooth, no T9-software
Motorola Timeport 260 was praised to be the first GPRS mobile of the new generation that fulfills all expectations. This is almost true: Motorola Timeport 260 is more!
Some features of Motorola Timeport 260 were new to me, such as its GPRS capability that makes mobile mailing and trading possible.
Although Motorola Timeport 260 is not my first cell phone, I never owned one that featured anything special. I was never interested in the technical progress that took place in the field of mobile communications. Now Motorola Timeport 260 shows off all new developments in one device!
At first I wanted to go for a standard mobile for I was afraid the handling of so many different functions might be too much for me, but Motorola Timeport 260's design convinced me otherwise.
I am so glad I purchased Motorola Timeport 260 and I never want to have another mobile in my life.
Motorola Timeport 260 provides any feature that one would expect, from phone book to GPRS that makes surfing the net with Motorola Timeport 260 quicker than ever before.
The infra red interface of Motorola Timeport 260 does not fully replace Bluetooth, but will do for most people.
Really handy: a miniature diary that can be dubbed with a PC's organizer so one can view one's data wireless on Motorola Timeport 260. I have to add another amazing fact aside. I was fired via e-mail and I viewed this mail on Motorola Timeport 260. Motorola Timeport 260 really proved its stability! After it flew out of the first floor window, it bounced off my convertible and ended up in midst of some daisies without being damaged.
The menu of Motorola Timeport 260 is clearly arranged and due to its provided quick grip, one can view all of Motorola Timeport 260's features in no time. The instruction manual is rather comprehensible.
Via the keypad of Motorola Timeport 260 one can activate the quick dial function and the vibratory alert. The latter is quite useful when you do not want to attract attention in public. This only works, though, when your friend does not start moaning once the alert goes off!
Another advantage of Motorola Timeport 260 is its battery stand - by time of 150 hours. In order to prevent Motorola Timeport 260's battery from breaking, one has to make sure it is completely flat before one charges it again. Otherwise the so called memory effect might occur that damages the battery's durability.
Last but not least: I love the design of Motorola Timeport 260! I have never seen such a great looking mobile before! Motorola Timeport 260 is great for compliments, too, although I still prefer the ones that I get, not my cell. All of the above for 99 Euro. This leaves no room for complaints. Motorola Timeport 260 is the perfect device for me, all my needs are satisfied.
Believe me, you will enjoy Motorola Timeport 260.
