Test report and technical data Motorola V50

Motorola V50: A gift from heaven!

    Motorola V50

Pros of Motorola V50: very light

Cons of Motorola V50: badly arranged instruction manual that is difficult to understand in spite of its extensiveness

First of all I want to warn you. I am neither experienced regarding cell phones nor regarding test reviews about them. Still I would like to state my opinion about Motorola V50. Maybe I can influence you to purchase Motorola V50 anyway.

My uncle, that angel, gave Motorola V50 to me when I graduated from high school this year. And here I am now, writing about Motorola V50's technical features:

Motorola V50 comes in the colors blue or silver; it is handy and weighs only 86 g. Quite light, right? (Sorry, I had to make this pun!)

The dimensions of Motorola V50 are 85 (not counting the antenna) x 40 x 25 mm. On the upper part of Motorola V50 there is a flap that must be opened in order to use the device. Sometimes I am a little worried that the flap might break off and my mobile becomes 'headless'. Motorola V50's screen and keypad do not seem to be very solid, so I am glad the flap is still there in order to protect Motorola V50 from scratches. Speaking of Motorola V50's screen: it is arranged in five lines and although it is rather small, everything can be read even at the darkest and foggiest places. This is because of Motorola V50's high resolution, Uncle Tom said.

Not even I, being a layperson, had a problem to handle the menu of Motorola V50. When I am in a hurry, I am assisted by Motorola V50's speed dial function. Just push the flash dials and the hot keys (I am getting quite professionally here, am I not?) on Motorola V50's keypad, and all troubles are gone.

My uncle also gave me the equipment that comes with Motorola V50. There is a bag that clips to a belt, a hands free talking device and more. Go and check out a mobile shop for more equipment supporting Motorola V50.

Motorola V50 also features three games: Bricks, Towers of Hanoi and Baccarat. Personally, I am not too crazy about games in the first place, but I am sure that you will be happy to have them if you get bored.

I guess Motorola V50's vibratory alert makes playing games even more fun.

What else does Motorola V50 have to offer? If you own Motorola V50, you have wireless internet access due to the mobile's W@P capacity. Motorola V50 provides three hours of talking time and up to 150 hours of stand - by time. One can save 100 numbers in Motorola V50's phone book.

A friend of mine, who also has got Motorola V50, told me that the Li ion 600 battery must always be empty before I can recharge it. If one does not follow this instruction, the durability of Motorola V50's battery will be damaged. This is called memory effect, my friend said. I actually thought Motorola V50 was pretty much invincible, but apparently it has got its sore spot: the battery.

Motorola V50 definitely satisfies all my needs. I would not know what else I could possibly ask for in a mobile. And then, I do not have the money to get another one.

Darn! I do not want to sound ungrateful, but my friend just came over with her new Nokia and that looks cooler than Motorola V50! Maybe I can write a review about her cell phone as well, maybe I will find out that it actually sucks compared to Motorola V50, who knows?

    Thank you for your attention.
