T720 SW-update instruktion
Ich hab des bei einem englischen forum gepostet, weil ich helfen will.
Es hat lange gedauert bis ich es auf englisch fertig hatte deshalb hab
ich keine lust zu übersetzten, aber für die, die englisch gut verstehen:

hi all,
I´ve decided 4 days ago to update my SW for my t720.
Today i´m finaly done sucessfull.
But before i had lots of trubble, because of the rare Information.
I´ve searched lots of forums to find information about flexing and flashing my phone. I took long to figgure out which programm i´ve to use and so i dicidet to write a Instruktion of updating a t720.

-----------Flashing and Flexing with PST and USB-cable-------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.----installing PST(6.0) and drivers for t720(WIN200)-------
-First install PST6.0
-connect the mobilephone and install the Motorola USB Modem Driver, take the driver from PST directory and your phone will work.
-Then crack PST6.0 use the PST-link on the desktop(or the UT_NVM.exe in Pst directory)
-Start PST6.0 with PST-link on the desktop(or the UT_NVM.exe in Pst directory) and Connect the phone and Your computer will find something like 4 or 5 peripherics, install them taking the driver from PST directory, too. (maybe you have to plug and out the USB-cable serveral times)

You can backup your Data with PST(6.0)-link on you destop
just select Dataphone/phonebook/Websessions/
M-Service-backupfile(Pics and Ringtones) and then
press Read from phone, then save the data an HD.
!!!!Now delete your Javagames and Javaapps!!!!
(ipmortant, i dont deleted them and my SW then wont enter the settings)
2.----FLASHING the pone-----------------------------
-download your SW-file (for example:T720_G_05.08.81R.shx)
-use the multiflash.exe in the PST-folder
-enable flashing
-search and select SW-file, dont forget to
enable the 4 Points on the right side(Masterclear/masterreset/
and so on...
-then select your device, double click on it
-then you´ve got a box with verify or not(i had never done it)
-then just flash
-power up phone
3----Flexing with nomal flex---------------------------
-download your flex-file (for example:retailse3843axxb206d.sh)
-use the multiflash.exe in the PST-folder
enable flashing
-search and select Flex-file, dont forget to
enable the 4 Points on the right side(Masterclear/masterreset/
and so on...
-then select your device, double click on it
-then you´ve got a box with verify or not(i had never done it)
-then just flex
-power up phone
4----Flexing with Kjava flex------------------------------
-download your kjava-flex-file (for example:**kjava**SW-version**.sh)
-use the PST-link on the desktop(or the UT_NVM.exe in Pst directory)
-go to Open-->pflex
-search and select Flex-file
-then just flex
-power up phone
enjoy your new fimware
Restore the data with PST use the PST-link on the desktop(or the UT_NVM.exe in Pst directory).
