Hallo

habe folgendes problem!
Hab mir CSS gekauft mit halflife alles drum und dran blablub, und installiert aber es läuft nicht[er läd zwar aber nach dem laden kommt nix vom game?] (???hmmm) da hab ich gegooglet und da hieß es erst grakka neu instalieren, hab ich gemacht - läuft immer noch nicht (???hmmm) weiter gegooglet und dann hieß es direckt x 9.0c hatt ich zwar drauf aber auch neu installiert - läuft immer noch nicht (???hmmm) dann weiter hieß es steam.dll und ClientRegistry.blob und SteamUI.dll löschen und steam neu starten dann müßte es funzen aber was war - es lief immer nocht nicht!

bist du dir sicher das du das game auch richtig und vollständig installiert hast ?

unter steam spiele siehst du bei wieviel % dein CSS ist . stehen dort 100% ?

tattoo-b wie er es schon gesagt hat wenn du CSS HL2 usw insterlierst mit cd must du noch warten bis steam das ganze da runterläd wenn es dann nicht geht hast du iregt ein prob mit rechenr

^^Hier hab ich mal ein paar rechner daten also laut rechner klappt doch CSS oder hab ich da was nicht gesehen?
Und ja es war alles bei 100% aber es kommt so ein kästchen wo drin steht css wird verbunden oder so und dann geht das weg und das spiel startet nicht mal dann obwohl ich manchmal so ne minute warte ob es vielleicht noch startet aber da kommt nix mehr!

Wer will kann auch heute abend so gegen halb 8 , oder 8 bei mir ins Teamspeack kommen und gucken ob er so besser helfen könnte!

hab jetzt auch mal ein wenig gegoogelt und folgendes gefunden:

Source mag es nicht, wenn ihr die Bildwiederholfrequenz, mit Tools wie RefreshForce oder den Grafikkarten Treibern, auf feste Werte setzt. Es tritt dann, zumindest bei mir, genau das beschriebene Problem auf.
Einfach die Einstellungen rückgängig machen/deaktivieren und es sollte gehen.

hast du windows sp1 oder 2 ?

hast du mal versucht eine ältere version von direct X zu installieren?

was auch sein könnte, ist das, falls du eine firewall hast, diese dich nicht durchlässt, also mal alles ausschalten , firewall sowie Virenscanner und dann versuchen zu connecten.

hast du mal ausprobiert über z.B. hlsw zu connecten ? also nicht direkt über das game selber?

hier noch ein kleines schreiben von Valve wie man eventuell das problem auch beheben könnte:

If you try and start the game and end up at your desktop you should download and install the latest version of directx 9.0c found here:

If you are locking up at the Loading screen you need to manually re-add the hl2.exe for each of your Steam games to your exceptions list. Once the game exe has been updated on your Firewall you should no longer lock up at the Loading screen.

On machines using nForce audio go to Options > Audio and switch to 2 speakers. This should stop you from crashing when joining your game.


If you are still having crashes while playing your game please try the following steps:

Clean booting to free up memory on machines that have 512mb of ram.

When you start Windows, typically there are a number of programs that start automatically and run in the background that may interfere with the game. These programs may include antivirus and system utility programs. When you perform a clean boot, you prevent these programs from starting automatically. You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group to complete this procedure.
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type msconfig, and then click OK.
On the General tab, click Selective Startup.
Under Selective Startup, click to clear the following check boxes:
Process SYSTEM.INI File
Process WIN.INI File
Load Startup Items
On the Services tab, click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable All.
Click OK, and then click Restart.

Note: To restore your normal boot sequence re-open msconfig and place a check in the items you previously disabled.

For lag issues in game or if you're still not able to get to the main menu try specifying a different DXLevel in launch options. This update replaced any tweaks that may have been made to improve game performance. If you are crashing or locking up when starting your game go to the Launch Options for the game and add -dxlevel 81.

If you are able to play with -window - console, but crash without these two launch options try copying the avi.dll from:

Steam\SteamApps\accountname\counter-strike source\bin folder to the Steam\SteamApps\accountname\counter-strike source folder

This will also work for HL2 and DoD: S.

If after trying these steps you are still experiencing issues please re-open your ticket and update us with the steps you have taken so far.

Hab alles ausprobiert aber irgendwie klappt nix!

ich hatte mal das problem, mein source hat auch nciht gesatartet! ich hab bei steam-->datei-->einstellungen-->Im Spiel--> und dann die steam community im spiel ausschalten also das häckchen weg machen! wenn das nicht klappt.....dann-.......hab ich auch keine ahnung^^!

hast du css auf der festplatte installiert wo du auch windows oder dein betriebssystem installiert hast?mach das mal!

Dank dir bzw dank euch alle aber geholfen hat alles nix! dachte ich könnte das mal zocken weil ich nur gutes davon gehört habe und dann geht das nicht SCHADE naja vergammelt das spiel halt im regal!

kannst dich ja trotzdem bei mir bedanken! ne spass, aber ich wüsste auch ncioht mehr worans liegen könnte! versuchs einfach nochmal zu iinstallieren und dann auf c:/ und auch steam nochmal neu installieren villeicht lags am update!MfG

Das gleiche Problem hatte ich bei mir damals auch. Es hat sich herausgestellt, daß die Grafikkarte nicht unterstützt wurde. Die GeForce 7300GS kenn ich aber nicht um sagen zu können ob das auch bei Dir der Fall sein könnte...
