Sorry das ich lange nix geschrieben hab.
Also des mit dem "patch" is so: Ich hab meinen Freund gefragt, ob er mir den schicken könne, der hat gesagt ne geht nicht, is 3gb groß. Ich, aha ein Patch 3gb groß? Er, ja is des ganze Spiel, nur schon aktiviert.
Ich blicks net wie der des gemacht hat oda was der meint mit schon aktiviert. Er hat gesagt es wär ne rar Datei die man entpacken muss, dann geht des Spiel.

So un jetz kann ich des niemandem schicken, oda?
Also tut mir Leid wegen dem "patch", hab da was falsch verstanden.

warum macht ihr das wieder so umständlich?? jetzt melden sich hier 100 leute die den patch auch haben wolln ladet den patch einmal aufm webspace hoch und poste den link hier rein gut is! wenn keiner von euch webspace hat dann schick mir den patch per email (smith26787@yahoo.de) gebrauchen kann ich ihn auch. sobald ich ihn hab lad ich ihn auf mein webspace und poste den link hier....

Ich hab ne ganz wichtige Frage.
Ich hab was gefunden wie man ohne Steam und so zocken kann ich versteh aber net die Anleitung kann mir diese hier jemand mal erklären:

Half-life 2 no-steam HOWTO.

Follow directions in this HOWTO and you’ll get an installation of half-life 2 that works without steam and has no CD-checks. This HOWTO is not about cracking steam or securom protection – steam is not required to run half-life, and securom protection is optional. Read along.

At the beginning, you need following:
- Encrypted GCF files from original half-life 2 DVD or from steam download. There is number of ways to get these.
- WinRar archive manager (freeware)
- hlunp.exe tool (unpacker, part of this archive)
- steam.dll part (emulator, of this archive)

Are you by any chance tired of trojans and viruses that claim to be a latest no-steam hack? Me too. So all tools in this archive come with full source code (GPL or public domain).

Getting encrypted GCF files

- If you have installed but not activated half-life 2, these files are located in Steam\SteamApps directory. Copy all GCF files from there and uninstall steam completely for good.
- If you have original DVD, then you can extract GCF files from HL2x.CAB file. Start WinRar and open hl2.cab file. Extract all files. Repeat it for hl22.cab – hl25.cab files. From every file extract all files except ones marked with “<--”.
- If you have an ISO (or MDF) image of original DVD, you can open image file with WinRar and extract all hl2x.cab files into temporary folder. Then you can extract GCF files from there.
- If you don’t have original DVD, you can get one by doing following steps:
o Go to the nearest store and buy a game. Keep a receipt
o Insert DVD in your computer
o Print files HL2_ReadMe.txt and HL2_EULA.rtf
o Do NOT install game or steam
o Extract GCF files as described above
o Return game to the store stating that you can’t accept EULA. If store refuses to get game back, contact Vivendi by a phone number listed in HL2_ReadMe.txt file.
- Please see the end of this file about downloading half-life 2 image.

Unpacking GCF files

- Make an empty folder where you want to install a game. Then execute provided unpackhl2.cmd command with parameters “unpackhl2.cmd <Path to directory with GCF files> <Path to target directory>”. You need to type this in command line prompt, if you don’t know what command-line is, nothing will help you. Wait awhile and you will get folder “root” created in directory you specified. Look, we have a file called “hl2.exe” inside!
- Copy provided steam.dll into “root\bin” folder (it is a “bin” folder just next to hl2.exe file).
- Create a shortcut to hl2.exe file with parameters “-steam” (i.e. hl2.exe –steam”).

Congratulations, you just created a playable half-life 2 installation that does not require steam or CD or internet connection to play. Notice that we even never installed steam. If you have it installed, uninstall this piece of crap as soon as possible. Enjoy your game!
