Released today V1.45 Firmware for the Infinity Modchip.


New Features and additions:

- Full DVD+R DL support
- RCE support
- Y-fix
- Boot logo
- New config menu
- Misc fixes


- Complete Double Layer support has been included for all DVD9 games.
Just make a backup copy as you would normally do and enable the option in the configuration screen.

- Dvd player region is now selectable in the config screen. This means that it will still play all normal dvd
discs with region free enabled but will also report the correct region for those few RCE protected discs out there.

- Y-fix can now be selected when forcing the PS2 screen output to NTSC, PAL or PAL60.
An AUTO settting is available which should center the screen on most TVs but eight additional settings
are available for fine tuning the screen position.

- A boot logo has been implemented as a request from some installer.
Can be disabled from the option menu if you don't like it :-)

- The config menu has been redesigned and the new options added.




u will like it , aber ich vermiss den divx support der bei 1.4 kommen sollte!

Dass man nun DLs abspielen kann, is n sehr nettes Feature, ich sag nur Xenosaga und GranTurismo. ^^ Nur blöd, dass die DLs noch ziemlich teuer sin...

xenonsaga ging schon vorher, das ds system wurde nur für die neuen spiele aufgefrischt!

was aber auch geil ist ist der force 60 herz pal modus!
mit y fix hat man sogar ein grades bild (also nicht nur ein teil des bildes!)

echt super zb bei kingdom hearts oder ffx!

Joa stimmt, das Feature is auch ziemlich nett, wenngleich ich nit vorhab, FFX oder KH in nächster Zeit ma wieder zu spieln...Aber schade, dass das Problem noch nit behoben würde, dass alle Games die 16 MB Memory Cards anerkennen, hoffentlich kommt sowas noch, falls das überhaupt realisierbar is. Muss mir die neue Firmware ma draufspielen...

naja aber das liegt am game
selbst wenn du die treiber reinlädst
die werden sich wahrscheinlich verhacken
wie bei hd.
ich glaub da können die jungs auch nicht viel mehr machen
aber es gibt ja nich nur kh und ffx die solche pal balken haben ^^
